. Click Safari in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen, then Preferences. Click the Privacy tab.
Under Website use of location services, click Prompt for each website once each day or Prompt for each website one time only. MacOS may now prompt you to enable Location Services. If it does, follow its instructions to enable Location Services for Safari. Close the Privacy menu and refresh the page. Try using Current Location search again. If it works, great! When you walk into the door you need to get a ticket before anyone sees you. There was a person standing there to help me go through the prompts. Maybe it's just me, but if they ask why you're here and they don't have my reason clearly stated I get nervous and don't know what to press. There's a button at the bottom saying something to the likes of 'everything else' which I was recommended to press. I couldn't even take a seat before my number was called to one of the kiosks.
I was getting a name change, so it was relatively simple. But I also find that being pleasant goes a LONG way! The lady that helped me was so nice and let me know about my various options. I ended up getting a new license since I was within 6 months of my license expiring. My total was $30.50. Bring your checkbook with you!!! Also, if you can bring the form you think you need completed with you.
You can find them all online. Because I ended up getting a new license I filled out the wrong form but it made things quick to transfer the information. I had to wait a few minutes to take my picture, but it was painless. For the ladies out there I recommend maybe putting on some makeup even if you normally don't (this pic lasts a long time!!! I'm really satisfied! Just FYI I came on a Wednesday at 11 am.
I imagine their employees must take a late lunch. Having working for the state in a different department I'm very familiar with their long lines. My first advice is know before you go.

My husband just relocated home from out of state. When we arrived they have a computerized system indicating which type of service you wanted. We chose other.
We waited about 20 minutes and was prepared. To change an out of state license you need your old license, SS card, proof of citizenship, and two forms of PA residency unless you are returning to the same address you moved from. Also you need to take a check. I had all these things in readiness. My only concern was his birth certificate since it did not list his parents' names on it. The agent was very nice and had asked for a passport.
I told him that requires a birth certificate with your parents' names on it. The one we had however, is sufficient for this place so you don't have to go online or to Vital Statistics and spend another $20.00 on one. Cost was $30.50. He directed us to the camera card area. We waited about 15 minutes and he was called.
They issued him a 15 day card since the state is verifying identity. He will get a new camera card which he will have to again take down there for a new picture. The card he has however, will sufficient as legal proof of PA residency. Only sad thing is that his previous state license was real ID compliant. Told him as long as state gets extensions then he can fly domestic. If not well back to the passport office.
Located in Chartiers Valley shopping center it is good to come during the week mid day. It is still crowded but staff is friendly and helpful. Just be prepared to wait. As a new resident, I had to go in person to the DMV as I needed a new license. Pros-. The staff was super nice and funny.
The lady that ended my transaction even said, 'Welcome to Pennsylvania.' The gentleman that processed my paperwork was hysterical. I wish I had their names.
Great people. Cons-. When you enter the machine asks what you need. The choices are new licenses, exams, or other. I selected new license. I waited my turn (40 minutes) and the agent told me I should have selected other as I am from out of state and I would have to wait in line again and pick a new number. He suggested I ask the Supervisor (Joy) if they could let me forfeit the wait as I already did wait and it was an honest error.
Her reply was, 'look up next time and read the signs.' I had a small baby with me and they could have shown me an act of kindness. Waited another 40 minutes. You can enter your phone number and you will get a text when it's close to your turn. Neither of us got this text. Don't suggest leaving as you could miss your time. I acquired my permit here, took my tests, and failed the parallel parking miserably, which is no matter to me since I'd rather not congest the roads or the air. He thought I was there to get a CDL or motorcycle license at first.
