Samsung Bd-p1400 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player
Anybody got a link to the UK 2.1 firmware? I'm on 2.2 and apparantly you need 2.1 to play Avatar with out annoying pop ups, i've tried the US 2.1 firmware but it doesnt work for uk models. Thanks in advance Edit: I have found what i think is the euro 2.1 firmware, gona try at lunch, will report back findings Edit: Went back to 2.1 and its works, well it worked second time after a power cycle anyway. Inglorious Basterds works fine on mine, but i think you need to go through the scene select menu and select 1, rather than press play at top menu. Hi all sorry to drag this out from the past but i have had my 1400 for a few years now and its been fine but as above its not playing all the films. Files mu season 6 episodio 3 full.

I have never done an update so i think its about time i did. I plugged into router it found the new software then just sits there saying down loading and nothing. Ive tried to put my ip address and all the other info in but same. My system info says S/W:080114.01xef region B/02(BD/DVD) iam now lost I've read my manual loads and searched here too someone please help thanks in advance Anthony. By far the easiest way to do a firmware update is to use an ethernet cable to plug your bd-p1400 into your router.
There's a lan port on the back of your player. Failing that, get a cd-rw, download the latest firmware from and follow the instructions to burn the update to disc. I've successfully used Roxio Basic 9, but Samsung recomend Nero.

I have just bought Due Date (UK release), the machine will play the disc up to the menu screen but the options don't come up! The display just says slideshow and all buttons apart from stop are unresponsive.
I appreciate that this machine is only profile 1.0 but it has played every other blu-ray I have bought with no problems. This includes even some of the most recent titles like Iron Man 2. I was just wondering if anyone knows when the new firmware will be released, if at all.
I would like to know if anyone else has a problem with Due Date or if anyone has managed to get it to play the film. I also have a ps3 which plays it perfectly but I want it to play on this machine too.
Does anyone know if there as an email address to contact samsung to inform them of the problem, I can't find it on their website. Sorry for the long post! Thanks in advance.
